Lady Gaga Vogue Japan 2010

Another icon controversial magazine cover is the 2010. Three months earlier the star wore a dress made completely of meat to the MTV video music awards. This dress was highly criticised by animal rights activists.

The cover features Lady Gaga wearing a bikini made of meat looking straight down the camera. The hair and make-up in this cover are fairly wearable due to the fact that the meat outfit is the main focus.

The make-up features a strong eye-liner which looks to have been done with a liquid liner as the line is dark and thick. There is also a strong matte red lip on display which complements the tones in the bikini.

Hair is kept very simple just being slicked back to achieve the hair has probably been combed backwards with hair gel to set it.
